Privacy Policy

This is the plain-language version of how ADHDVP handles your information, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not really telling you anything. If you have a question after reading it, email privacy@adhdvp.com.

Who I am

ADHDVP is a content brand and digital product operated by Veridyne Holdings LLC ("I", "me", "we"). For anything related to your data, I am the data controller, and you can reach me at privacy@adhdvp.com.

What I collect

  • Your email address, when you choose to subscribe to the newsletter. Subscribing uses double opt-in, so you confirm by clicking a link in an email before you are added.
  • Basic analytics about how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device and browser type), but only if you consent to analytics cookies. If you decline, no analytics are collected.
  • Standard server logs kept by the web host, which may include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
  • Anything you put in an email you send me.

I do not ask for or collect sensitive information, and nothing on this site is a medical service. Please do not send me medical or diagnostic details.

How I use it

  • To send you the newsletter you signed up for.
  • To understand which pages people actually read, so I can make the writing and the product better (only with your analytics consent).
  • To keep the site secure and working.
  • To reply to you if you email me.

I never sell your data, and I never share it for anyone else's advertising.

Legal bases (for readers in the EU/UK)

I rely on your consent for the newsletter and for analytics (you can withdraw it anytime), and on my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and operational for basic server logs.

Who I share it with

I use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") to run things. They only handle your data to provide their service to me:

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no tracking cookies unless you opt in. Fonts are served from my own server, not a third party, so simply loading a page does not send your details to anyone. The full breakdown is in the Cookie Policy, and you can change your choice anytime using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.

How long I keep it

I keep your email for as long as you are subscribed, plus a short period after you unsubscribe to honor the unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' settings. Server logs are kept only for a short operational period. Ask me to delete your data and I will, subject to any legal obligation to keep records.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email privacy@adhdvp.com to exercise the rights below, and I will not treat you differently for doing so.

If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California or another US state (CCPA/CPRA and similar)

You have the right to know what personal information I hold, to request its deletion, and to correct it. You also have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, though I do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

International transfers

My providers (beehiiv, Google, Namecheap) are based in the United States, so if you are outside the US, your data is processed there under those providers' safeguards.

Children

This site is for working adults and is not directed to children. I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle data, I will update this page and change the "last updated" date above. If it is a significant change and you are on the list, I will tell you.
